Giving back to the world

The concept of fighting for your survival is outdated, as if you fight there will be no survival.Your progression is defined by how much you add to the universal knowledge pool which is the ultimate source of knowledge for all. This knowledge pool is responsible for channelizing your thoughts and framing your imagination till the time you are capable of giving back to it. It is part of the intangible resources which you are blessed with and it is your responsibility to expand it further.

The world runs in a very simple way, you are supported by nature, through its tangible and intangible resources, till you become self sufficient. As you grow wiser, you still keep deriving nourishment from nature but also add back to it in one form or the other. This in turn helps someone else and the cycle continues. This reciprocity is true for all living organisms.

Other organisms play their part and continue adding to the tangible resources, but humans play the primary role in developing the intangible knowledge pool further.

Live up to your end of the universal bargain

The give and take with the universe is often disrupted by human vices like ignorance and greed. You get so consumed by the material aspect of life that you forget giving back to the knowledge pool which is responsible for your sharp thinking.Once you have become smart and you feel you are independent from the pool of knowledge, you chase riches and ignore your responsibility of repaying what molded you thought.the cosmos.

But the mindful ones always place progress of the many before individual wants. They always endeavor to give back to the pool of knowledge by sharing what they know with as many people as they can. This is why our race persists. Had our ancestors been overtly selfish we wouldn’t have found ourselves in the paradise that we do now.

You have so many excuses to ignore this important aspect of life. You might be too poor, too rich, too young, too old, too busy, too bored, too hurt, too happy or too sad to care for the benefit of others. But if these limit you from carrying out your moral responsibilities then you are the ultimate loser. As there have been wars in the past, empty stomachs and broken bones, typhoons and cyclones, failed romances and heartbreaks, tsunamis and earthquakes, still people found the time to add to the knowledge pool.

You were born into a world with a distinct cycle of life and death. How you spend the phase in between decides the quality of your life and how the world progresses. How many friends you make, how many souls you shake, how many minds you elate, how many hearts you illuminate.

If everyone consciously starts adding even minutely to the knowledge pool our world would be much smarter than it is. By doing this we would not only be grateful for the world we live in, but also start to respect its tangible aspects. We would not only be mindful about this knowledge pool which has developed over millions of years but also attempt to sustain all natural resources which support us.

The quality of our universe ultimately depends on the the quality of the universal knowledge pool which in turn depends on each and every one of us.  If you keep fighting for your own survival we wont be able to move forward as a race. Even the ones who manage to progress would do so partially.  Whereas if you share knowledge and help others you would contribute to the universal pool of knowledge and help the world to progress as a whole.
